I agree with Kelsee that we will likely still get another DSMB report, either as a stand alone like the previous 6 DSMB reports, or in conjuction with the potential SSRA. Just because we're ~2 weeks past the previous longest interval doesn't mean we're done with DSMB reports. 5 months and change left until year end. Lots of time.
Regarding the SSRA and top-line data by end of the year........if SSRA is still going to happen at 75% of adjudicated 3-point MACE events (188 events) and BETonMACE has yet to achieve 188 adjudicated events, then in my opinion the probability that BETonMACE will achieve 250 adjudicated events and trigger top-line data by end of year is low and gets lower with each passing day.
However, if Resverlogix and the Clinical Steering Committee have decided to not perform the SSRA (an opinion Growacet favors), then it is quite possible that BETonMACE has already achieved 188 adjudicated events and in my opinion the probability of achieving 250 adjudicated events and getting top-line data by end of year is still quite high. Of course, it's also possible that they have decided to not perform the SSRA and BETonMACE has not yet acheived 188 adjudicated events yet.
