No argument from me there. I may have misinterpreted your first post. I thought you were implying that since Vorapaxar is getting the VIP accelerated approval process in China now, that you were suggesting that apabetalone should get this same accelerated approval now. I was simply clarifying that apabetalone first needs to pass Phase 3 and get approval by US, EU or Japan to be comparable to the track being followed by the other 48 drugs on the list. If apabetalone does what we all (or most) think it will do, then surely China will put this at the top of their expedited review list. Also keep in mind that BETonMACE has a Taiwan/Chinese patient population, which may even permit China to evaluate for their own approval before US or EU.
