I'm new to most of this so I wonder if someone would let me know if I'm missing something regarding a reverse stock split. In a 1:2 reverse split the total nember of shares would be cut in half and the stock price would double. That would be very undesirable as the profit potential would be cut in half as well, any price increase would yield half as much profit if I understand correctly.
I apologize if I'm out to lunch on this, but I have to ask.
