Well.... in my opinion, not quite perfectly answered. I certainly considered that there would be fewer patients at the beginning and therefor less events then, and more later. But for the company to say 10-15 Mace/month, without telling us how many months they are referring too then one can only assume they are talking about all months (34). We all know how average works.... we need to know the span of time they are referring too when saying 10-15 mace per month. If they don’t tell us, then I’m left with thinking they are referring to the length of the trial (which should be the norm in my opinion). I agree that 10-15 per month doesn’t add up to 200 over a 34 month period so they conceivably didn’t include all months. If that is the case, I would suggest that they should explain which months they are referring to and/or how they did their math.
