You may have missed the previous discussion on this board about the liver transaminase issue. That article that NBB shared was based upon the ASSERT trial, which was 12-weeks long not 24-weeks long as John Carroll wrote. Please see this prior post of mine for a detailed discussion on this liver transaminase issue, a variety of links, transaminase data from the more recent ASSURE study, as well as some conjecture as to how the recently reported effects of apabetalone on liver FXR may play in to this.
