Top-line data announcement can really come anytime via a news release and doesn't have to conform to being released during a previously scheduled conference. Full data is usually presented at a previously scheduled major scientific conference. BETonMACE stretches into the cardio, diabetes, renal and cognition spaces. However, the primary outcome is more in the cardio/diabetes area. I expect the first major conference for full data to be a cardio or diabetes conference, with the sub-studies for renal and cognition to be presented at a renal or cognition related conference.
Applications/abstracts to present at major conferences usually have to be submitted months in advance of the conference. The final data doesn't have to be ready or included in the abstract, but one does need to apply and get approval to present. One can't just show up unannounced and present. Each conference has its own application deadlines. Assuming that Resverlogix hasn't already applied, they are running out of time for presenting at 2019 conferences that occur prior to November 2019.
