Took some work to find this post, but I put together a fairly comprehensive post on the bromodomain (BD) vs. BET protein selectivity of apabetalone. I wouldn't use the term BD2-specific or BRD4-specific, since apabetalone does bind to BET proteins other than BRD4 and does still bind to BD1, albeit with lower affinity than BD2.
