I'll posit a reason. Because if the primary objective is reached, like AMRN did before....I believe the PPS could explode in a similar, and possibly even bigger fashion.
So not buying before top-line risks losing out on the chance to load up under $4 imo. Of course without any liquidity on the sell side that could be a problem, the PPS could start taking off before long.
Short interest should be out tomorrow....I won't be surprised to see that its jumped a bit, but we shall see....some selling might have resulted from them failing to deliver on the 30 day expectation they set about financing that was over a month late.
