I always think of the difference between GAMBLING and RISK taking.

Gambling is when everyone sits around the table,.. puts some money in the middle and then the highest card or WHATEVER,... that person gets all the money,..... NOTHING is created, no service is provided,... I do not gamble and i think it adds nothing to society.

RISK taking is what we do as investors or entrepreneurs, when we have a dream of producing a product or service that adds to the betterment of society. When I buy shares in RVX I am RISK taking,... I am NOT GAMBLING.
