Good catch on the patient drop outs affecting the projected patient years per day. Additionally, some rounding up may have been involved in that estimate from 10 months ago. Tundup doesn't post often, but I hope we hear from Tundup again. Over the past few years, many of us, including myself, have offered projections of patient years, number of events, and event rates. With many unknown variables, my advice is that these unofficial projections/estimates should be taken as opinion and not fact. BETonMACE can be successful at 3600 patient years, 4500 patient years, or another arbitrary number of patient years. Tick tock to 250 events, top-line data and full data. It should be an exciting few months ahead of us.
