coldnewfie - There was a news release in Jan 2018 that said something to the effect of; the FDA approved the BETonMACE trial in the USA. It did not say they had started recruiting. If you look at the notes from the AGM posted by mazila? at 8:01pm 12 Sept 2018 there is a comment on why US patients were not actually recruited. Essentially they had the diversity of the US population already covered in the existing participants from around the world with the patients already enrolled, the FDA agreed and it saved them a bucket load of money.
