I see them, you see them. Maybe you are one of them. My Dad was one of them. Walking slowly, gasping to get up a flight of stairs, face not pink but gray. The struggle with heart disease. Congestive heart failure was my father's fate.
To think, or even allow myself to think that this little potential diamond we've invested in for well over a decade could have kept my father alive for another decade or more, he would still be here today. If this small, incredibly frustrating Canadian biotech can reverse this plague, whether self-inflicted or otherwise with a few short years of treatment, make no mistake, it will be viewed as a true miracle of modern medicine. The next miracle will be to keep disease from happening in the first place.
This is just one heartache, one disease. Just imagine.
I lament that if it were 2009 and not 2019.....perhaps we could have our dead "brought back".
I wish this for your families, my family and all of woman and mankind, that we can simply expire, healthy to the last, instead of being taken.
