From time to time our famous board monitor Kelsee would welcome all newcomers and point out some things we expect on the RVX and Zenith boards.

First off welcome to all those that may have missed a welcome note on your first couple of posts.

This board is an exchange of ideas, all ideas, and a way to share information with like minded and not so like mind people.

Please respect everyone's views. Understand that not everyone will agree with yours and you may not agree with someone else's.

The Link Library on the left side of the page is filled with a treasure trove of articles and links to information about the science and the company. BearDownAZ does a great job of not just keeping this Link Library up to date but keeping all of us informed about the science, articles, conferences that are being presented at. Another thing Bear does is let us know whether we have said something in our posts that are on or over the line as to what is acceptable behaviour on this board.

To make it easy to review the rules for this board, here they are;

To ensure your continued participation on AGORACOM, please follow these 6 simple rules.

1. PROFANITY - Swearing or use of foul language is strictly prohibited… in any language (We have 42 interpreters on staff to keep an eye on those International members). For the record, ##$!#&% or any combination thereof is considered profanity.

2. DEROGATORY COMMENTS TOWARDS OTHERS - Calling another member an idiot, clown, stupid, dumb, moron or ##x%x# for brains is strictly prohibited.

3. OFF-TOPIC OR IRRELEVANT COMMENTS - Yep, nobody can believe what Donald Trump said today, or that Monica Lewinsky is more believable than Hillary, or the Dallas Cowboys keep crushing their fans (seriously though, it %*$#@ hurts). However, the main forums are not the place to discuss TV shows, politics or sports... O.K. maybe a little sports. Please use the Off-Topic Forums.

4. SPAMMING OR CLAIMS OF INSIDER INFORMATION - Enough said… unless your brother in-law really is Jeff Bezo’s chauffeur.

5. BASHING OR HYPING - Unsubstantiated claims of grandeur or impending doom are best left to Nostradamus as they will cost you some valuable points towards your rating. Also included in this category is repetition of the same question, fact or opinion over and over after a response has been provided or if there is currently no ascertainable answer.

6. Caps lock and use of !!!!!!! - NOTHING AND WE MEAN NOTHING IS MORE AGGRAVATING AND ANNOYING THAN READING A POST THAT LOOKS LIKE THIS!!!!!! IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY, IT DOESN’T BECOME ANYMORE NOTICEABLE WHEN YOU TYPE IT IN CAPS!!!!! IN FACT, MOST PEOPLE TEND TO IGNORE THESE KINDS OF POSTS!!!!... Exceptions will be made for those deserted on a deserted island (with a kick ass internet connection) and sending out a distress signal, or anyone who invested in WorldCom, Enron, Tyco, Nortel, Webvan, Pets.com or Sideware and needs to freak out every year.

Here are a couple ideas to make everyone's experience better.

If you find that you don't agree or like to read the posts of certain posters, don't open their posts. If you don't want to even see their posts there is a Red button that says ignor. If you click on it, that problem for you is resolved instantly. You don't need to announce to anyone how you feel about their posts. If you don't like reading them click Ignor.

It is totally acceptable to have respectful disagreements in points of view. Once you state your view respectfully, drop it and move on to the next new bit of info. It is after all these differences in opinion that make a market.

If you don't agree with the way this board is monitored please feel free to find another board that is more suitable to the kind of board that suits your needs better.

Participation on the Agora boards and specifically this board is a privilege, not a right.

Bottom line, be respectful and play nice boys and girls.
