Even with my limitied knowledge of anythign scientific, this forum (and mostly Bear) have taught me a fair bit.....

Unless I'm way off 'off label' refers to using a drug for indications that are not (as yet) approved.  If apabetalone gets approved for Diabetics at high risk of CVD, then that is the 'on-label' use.....but for example if a Doctor decided to perscribe it to a 75 year suffering from cognitive impairment based on that BETonMACE secondary endpoint being met, then this would be an 'off label' use....unless of course Apabetalone somehow managed to get FDA approval for Apabetalone as a treatment for cognition, which I doubt could happen without further trials.

How'd I do Bear?
