icono - Although I mostly agree with your math, 20% = 4% of total?, I also agree with BDAZ and having them stretch it out a little to get more events. This would make their statistical significance stronger. In my estimation they were achieving about 6.5 events per month in the last few months of the trial. If they are expecting to have 260 events as Bear has pointed out then sandbagging you best candidates to the final moments of the windup would make good trial management sense. Stretching it out a couple of more weeks could have an extremely positive outcome for the trial. Rushing to getter done may not be the best course of action, but definitely could be done.
