Message: Could BETonMACE Cognition Sub-Study be presented at AAIC this month?

Totally agree, Bear.  If no results are presented this is going to be a disappointment but it is difficult to imagine that they can have the analysis done in time.  As you pointed out yesterday, the analysis for meeting presentations and abstracts have to been in prep months in advance and an Abstract must have been submitted for the selection process.  A common practice is to submit a relatively uniformative abstract for the selection process (saying "analysis of MoCA scores in patients aged 70 and greater will be presented") and then submitting a better one (saying "MoCA scores of patients aged 70 and greater were signficantly higher in the treatment group than...) at the time of the meeting when you actually have the analysis completed.  But still, this would have been done on the gamble that database lock took place by now.

The other strike against AAIC being the platform for presentation of the cognitive results is that it is only a poster (not oral) presentation.  This will be a very understated way of presenting good results if indeed, that is what happens...

But I'm hoping and dreaming, too
