Here is my understanding, based on what the IR at RVX explained to me. First, RVX does not do the statistical analysis, even after DBL. It is done by the CRO who conducted the whole Phase 3 trial. Makes sense to me...such calculations are best done by the experts rather than RVX. From my point of view, it makes it more credible for this analysis to be outsourced.
Second, IR explained to me that all key people need to be physically in one room in Calgary once the results are to be given to RVX. This will not be done on a phone call, as there are issues of who is dialling in etc (so confidentiality issues in short). Immediately after the results are given to RVX and this "all in one room" exercise is finished...that is when the results will be announced in a basic format (met/did not meet etc.).
That is why I don't expect the results to come out any day now. It could be at 1 week if not more before the fateful results will come out. Indeed, it could be even after Third Eye Loan is due.
