Baseline TGs are not listed in the recent BETonMACE design and baseline measures paper either. Only TG criteria for BETonMACE is for them to be below 400 mg/dL. No need for TG elevation in the inclusion criteria. However, elevated TG are common in diabetes, as you stated, so they are likely above normal in BETonMACE patients.
