Message: AHA Late Breaker!

OK. Let's clear up this AHA Late Breaker issue so that is doesn't come up AGAIN.

Application for and acceptance as an AHA late breaking presentation gives no indication of the success or not of BETonMACE. The actual data could be good, bad, pretty, ugly, so-so, meh, mixed, etc. Similar response to what Tada wrote replied "No it doesn't necessarily bode well for the trial results as both successful and unsuccessful trial results are presented in Late Breaker sessions. If you recall there were many different combinations that - good, bad and ugly results could be derived from."

As for timing of submission relative to database lock....late breaking application submissions were due on August 15th, well before any database lock, unblinding of data, etc. The late breaking application guidelines indicate:

"Abstracts submitted via the Late-Breaking submission process are expected to contain at a minimum the study design. Information on the characteristics of the patients enrolled is desirable as well. If available, the major trial results should be summarized and will be maintained in a confidential fashion."

So what was submitted in the application was likely just a placeholder, as described above, without any knowledge of actual results.

As Noretreat replied "BetOnMace will provide important science data whether it meets its endpoints or not."

Are we done with this issue now?
