In a way, the lessons they learned from their Phase 2 fiasco is comforting...they are not making the mistakes of Phase 2. 

For example, I remember there was an issue with a subject in Phase 2 not taking his/her drug/placebo and it was not detected until it was too late.  This announcement of top line data is being done so that management has more than enough time to prepare slides and explain their data interpretation during the webcast.  Good preparations!
