Message: Apabetalone MOA diagram

Not sure how long it has been changed, but the apabetalone MOA diagram showing the affected biological processes has been modified on the Resverlogix website. Looks like no longer emphasis on glucose metabolism (delayed and reduced oral glucose absorption and endogenous production) but instead emphasis on acute phase response (systemic inflammation, CRP, neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio). You can compare the new diagram on the website to the previous one on slide 11 of the corporate presentation. Not a big deal, just an observation.

We'll know soon enough if there is benefit on change in HbA1C, fasting glucose, or fasting insulin over time since these are secondary outcomes in BETonMACE. Anyone needing a refresher on the list of primary, secondary and exploratory outcomes in BETonMACE as well as pre-specified sub-group comparisons for the primary outcome can review this post. Plus, don't forget about the CKD sub-study and cognition sub-study.
