A long period of snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 25 cm is expected.

A pacific weather system will continue to bring heavy snow to southern Alberta this morning. Further accumulations of 2 to 5 cm are expected with local amounts up to 10 cm today. Snow will taper off this afternoon.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
