ToInv, I think CitySlicker is right that they have committed to AHA to make the big reveal there. (Read his post for more accurate summation).

So..given that they couldn't say anything but top line.... there may have been little else they could do.

Maybe they tried to delay revealing top line so long so they could at least know whether they had some promising subgroup data. At least, I kept trying to ignore my misgivings about the delays. Also, if things had been stellar to the tune of statistically significant 70% reduction in MACE as the trial went along - it would probably have been stopped to expedite approval.

But we may still have something.

I guess I am one of those talling too much at this time.

After 4 a.m. here. Sleepless nights and a glass of wine can make one less taciturn.
