I believe you are assuming too much about how much the company itself knows about their data. IMHO, they got the data only on Friday, and even then, only the prelim analysis could be completed.
They will have sufficient time to do some more data analysis by Nov 16. That is when they can explain more.
IMHO, they need to start exploring a sale of the company asap. Their ability to stay independent is over.
