Thanks Golf, I saw imtesty's post after reading through the day's postings.  

So who were today's buyers?  No doubt some were retail players averaging down, and others were likely shorts covering...as of the last update for trades settled up to Sept 15th iiroc put the number at 510,808

Who were the sellers?  No doubt some were retail holders taking the hit, and I wonder if some short players jumped on the bad news.  If they did it didn't have much impact once the trading started, opening at 54 cents and closing at 67. 

I'd bet there was some HFT algos playing too, but I wouldn't wager too much....I'm poorer now than I was last week :-)

So many questions so few answers.
