And my thoughts for what it is worth...

I am obviously disappointed but I based on my past experience I have seen many trails based on good science fail.  I was willing to take a position on what I saw as about a 40% chance of success and lost the bet.

My bigger take home lesson for next time is I had blind faith in the openness and fairness of the market and ignored the trading signals in the days prior to the call today.  Lesson learned.  Never again.  Just curious if in retrospect others also have this gut feeling that there was some information that had been leaked?  Maybe not overtly but through nudges and winks.  That is the part that stings!
