SSP, thanks for bringing the compound concentration issue to light. I looked back at recent studies and Resverlogix routinely uses apabetalone/RVX-208 in the 5 to 30 micromolar range in their own cell culture studies using primray or immortalized cell lines. I see no reason why apabetalone couldn't be used at this same concentration in these Pfizer cell culture studies of Friedreich's ataxia lympoblasts and fibroblasts. So I agree, a much greater effect of apabetalone on increasing levels of the frataxin protein would be expected if used at higher concentrations like 5 to 30 micromolar.
