Iconoclast, I've been wondering something similar.
As I understand it, as strange as it seems to me, detailed findings cannot be released until the AHA. However, the top line failure was announced 3 weeks ago. The prespecified cross tabs (sub group analysis), once the data was clean (which would have been completed before the top line data were presented), should have been a simple computation along with the stat tests and thus should have been available for at least 2 weeks(my guess).
It strikes me that, even though findings cannot be released until mid Nov, if the sub group findings are (really) positive and promising the mood at RVX would have to be very positive. I don't know where I'm leading on this but to suggest that perhaps it might be hard to contain the enthusiasm of positive results. Likewise, if the results are not very positive, even if the findings hint at good future of research prospects, that mood might be evident as well.
So I guess at the AGMs on Oct 31 I think that it would be very difficult to supress exuberance or a negative situation.
I guess I'm just starting to catch up on the thoughts in the share price contest.
Just thinking out loud here.
