Some recent posts are tweaking my old memory a bit. Tada - Those U.of C. shares are what I was referring to yesterday and now that you state it, I seem to remember that ir might have been Dr. Wong that compensated the U. rather than RVX. I might be wrong but it also seems that the U. sold those shares fairly soon afterward. They were more interested in cash.
Narmac - I don't believe that Dr. Wong forgot the options either but I do believe he might not have been interested in buying them. He did have to take on risk and pony up cash when he didn't know any results of BoM. You might also say he was compensated partially with the RSU's which he doesn't have ro pony up cash for. Nobody can guess what his reasoning is but he has passed them over before. If his position in RVX ends up being worth $60 million or $100 million, an extra $3 million or $4 million isn't going to matter that much but putting up over $100,000 cash a month ago not knowing BoM results might have mattered.
