The stock peaked this month on October 17. If you look at the trading, since then, it is clear that there is only net seller: TD Securities (about 300,000 shares net sold since Oct 18; Oct 18 included). Every other bank's clients are either net buyers, or close to flat. Some have been serious net buyers, like RBC (+180k shares net) & CIBC (+75k shares net). Raymond James clocked in at +14,800 shares.
This is actually very encouraging. Whenever the TD Securities seller/s is finished, the stock should rapidly get back to a much higher level. This is what happens when there is only 1 buyer or only 1 seller in a relatively illiquid stock. Mean reversion is a very powerful magnet.
It also means that if the results on Nov 16 are as good as what we all hope, then it won't take much to drive the share price much higher. Technically speaking, a lot of weak hands are all gone by now. $5 anyone?
