The primary end point failed was because the placebo included included outcomes from both, the Crestor as well as the Lipitor group!
i wounded why the company did agree to it as people are never on both of these statins at the same time!
The company should have pushed for two evaully important primary end points. One vs groups on Crestor & one vs the groups on Lipitor!
However, that differential will be revealed soon!
