Hi Cityslicker,
if it is only a question of 0.06 vs 0.05, then we are home! Strictly speaking, a 2 standard deviation is 0.04...but somehow the practice became 0.05...not sure why. But in statistical terms, there is frankly no difference between 0.05 and 0.06. After all, if 0.05 is tolerated despite 0.04 being the strict statistical benchmark, then I am sure the FDA will have absolutely no issues with 0.06.
