The Colcot trial results were indeed outstanding. My brother uses Colchicine for pseudogout with mixed results. I had a cardiac arrest (at no financial cost to me, God (if he/she exists) bless socialized medicine) so i think i will add that to my daily pill intake (after medical advice of course). The interesting thing is that in Mexico, a 1 mg pill (2 days dosage) of the drug costs 12 cents, CDN, not US, and can be bought without prescription. Imagine that, a CVD disease that works and 2 month supply is the price of a cup of coffee --- regular, not latte or that fancy stuff with little faces engraved in the flotsam at the top.
In the 60's and 70's, Americans would cross the southern border looking for cheap lodging, companionship, booze and ditch weed. Now the 60's and 70's generations will be crossing the border looking for cheap heart drugs.
So, don't all you Yanks be rushing down there and driving the price up to US$0.12 a pill. You guys always spoil a good thing by overpaying! It is already happening in Cuba where they sneak in and then claim to be Canadians, even the Repblicans.
