Bear - I assume that Dr. Cummings is referring to diabetics only since all trial sub study patients are diabetics?  This would then be consistent with the lead comment in bold type.

Also I agree that for him to say ‘very promising’ is strong language, but coming from a medical professional of his stature do you think that is somewhat equivalent to a ‘wow’ in layman’s terms?  I recognize this calls for speculation so you can sustain if you don’t want to answer. :)
