You could say the same about practically any biotech company.
Just look up Amarin AMRN...burnt cash for many years. Today's market cap $8 billion. Or the Medicines Company MDCO. Burnt over $1.2 billion in just the last 4 years; to be bought out at $7 billion. Arrowhed Pharma ARWR. $33 million market cap in 2011, burnt through $300 million by 2015 and had a market cap of US$323 million. Today: $6.5 billion.
I think you are looking at it all wrong. Since you are in Canada, you should think of a mining company with a super high grade discovery...say 50 meters at 10 g/ton gold, starting from 5 meters down. What value would you put to that?
