Good reminder SF! We are in it now to be sold to a big pharma company. Only question in my mind is how much and by when?
For a buyer, this is about as good as it will ever get when buying a future blockbuster. Safe drug...with lots and lots and lots of upside potential. Just needs several trial testing over time. Like Humira, future indications are mind blowing.
By not focusing on Joe Retail, Don McCaffrey and team are taking a bet that they just need to convince the scientists and business development officers at a Pfizer etc, that buying out RVX is a career maker for those big pharma people. The main flaw I see is that taking a buyout of RVX at say, $3 billion to the board of a Pfizer etc, for a company with a $300 million market cap won't be an easy sell.
So yes...while the gravity of the black hole of $1.33 continues to tug at the share price, the eventual prize is far bigger. The traded warrants have a break even of $5.50, FWIW.
