Re: filings it's a catch situation.  If you overly promote and you don't get it, you set yourself up for failure / expectations.  I also would think it is not that welcomed by FDA if you give any impression that you are trying to "use" the FDA application process for short term promotion. 

There's a whole bunch of strategy issues that need to be considered (private negotiations vs. public investor awareness and so on).
