GAC/others ... Not gonna lie or pretend, color me officially concerned and nervous about finances, as a "retail" investor. In the worst case, how are we staying a "going concern"? In tthe best case, the loss of "time" leverage for getting the best deal?
There have been many "promising" drugs and products that never make it to market for a variety of reasons, including the lack of funds for advancement. I'm less concerned about this due to all the things we know about apabetalone, but very concerned about my RVX investment.
Seems obvious that we need to partner/sell, like yesterday. Unless there are deep pockets still 100% engaged to get to goals, given how close it "could" be to fuition, potentially?
Regulatory feedback is critical, are we looking at BT utilizing existing psoitive data for a fast-track (a year?), or bolt-on for additional data powering (several years?), or P3 (addittional 3-5 years and greater data duplication risk?) ..... I think these are HUGE questions for the investors that may be willing to keep the lights on, and also potentail BP partners buyers?
The combination of 1) cash positioning/backing and 2) regulatory pathway ... will determine any deals, obviously. Hopefully we can manage to keep the lights on long enough for regulatory clarity, and the cut a deal that could range anywhere from a few hundred million up front plus large "back-end opportunity for milestones, to a large "up-front" amount if it is clear that important milestones are in the very near picture (competition will be important leverage).
All that said, the recent "chest thumping" NR may (or may not lol) hold some clues?
This a unique situttation, a company with enormous potential, that was so close to P3 passage except for powering ("possibly"), or a proper/better combination of valuable "endpoints" as demonstrated by the sub-studies.
Without being on the "inside" it is impossible to know the true cash/financing outlook, or the true picture on optimism/pessimism regarding regulatory. I'm sure some key investors and BP's (via CA) know those answers, though ... and no takers on the Warrants would concerning, and also color the recent NR in less than exciting ways, for me at least?
Please don't take this as anything other than another investor in the dark, trying to make sense of my investment ... raising more questions, for discussion and discernement, I have no answers, just questions.
I do remain positive about the science, and long on RVX ... and I do think (hope?) it is worth more than the current markets value it, just hope I am right. Again these are just ramblings that are on my mind, for discussion among we investors in the dark, criticism, redirection, enlightenment, etc.
Just discussion and imho's ..... does anyone know what information rights certain "key" investors such Eastern, Hepalink, etc., have ABOVE my informational disclosure rights as a "retail" investor? ... with regards to finances, deal discussions, and regulatory/directional strategy?
Sincerely,
Captain Obvious
