Just a question. If RVX management is, as they say, actively pursuing partnering arrangements for one or more indications, then does that not pretty much negate any likelihood of a buyout in the near term by any other player? My gut, for what it's worth, tells me that all of this silence (which is annoyingly deafening btw) means that they either have or are very close to some kind of partnering arrangement. In this instance I think that silence is golden......if you like the idea of a partnership arrangement with a BP. If so, then surely that BP would have some kind of ROFR and could exercise that right either on positive news from the FDA or on the successful conclusion of another trial, or whatever. I suppose that I've answered my own question to some extent in that a BP partner could conceivably buy RVX at some opportune time after the partnership arrangement is concluded.
I think I'm starting to feel like an RVX oldtimer.......
