All very good points in my view, for which reason I agree this BT designation may have a greater immediate impact on BP than on investors.

What's very significant is the FDA understands the science and will almost certainly have sought the advice of academic experts. Collectively, they have concluded (and very quickly) that apabetalone is likely opening the door to a new era in medicine. That will have a strong message throughout the industry. It's no longer just about a little company in Calgary with an eccentric obsession, should anyone have thought that. The FDA has signed up to it. That's huge.
