For the record:
Although stroke and CHF are both “cardiovascular” events, of the two only CHF is a “cardiac event” (stroke being a “cerebrovascular” event).
So...did the FDA really mean what they said when they specified “major adverse cardiac events”?
If it did, they are including CHF and excluding stroke in the BT designation. That would obviously be very good news.
But was it just sloppy language?
Perhaps we should ask RVX this question? Does anyone know how to go about that?
