For my own part I have little doubt that there has been some shorting and covering going on, especially of late with the overall volatility in the broader markets....maybe 5K shares or so borrowed at a time and sold to drop the price, and then covered, rinse and repeat rinse and repeat.  Only thing is they (if its more than one) haven't been able to make any headway eating into the longer term accumulated short position....if that's the goal, oh well too bad so sad.
