I look forward to the presentaions of the next 11 days or so but don't think that these results are likely to get RVX  an early offer. The kidney resuts are probably mixed, not company making but not bad either, or we would have heard more on the rumor circuit.

I had thought that we might see some big news in the next 2 months or so but not so optimistic now. The next  news may be about a further study or studies, numbers of patients, the goals and who is ponying up the cash to pay for it. There may be some hard negotiating over numbers of patients and study length and that would necessarily have to include the funder. Timing is always an issue.

The FDA is under a certain amount of pressure from this Administration to come up with good news in terms of new potential blockbuster cures or treatments, both for CV and other major killers. RVX should appoint Ivanka to the Board and give her a whole bunch of options. They woud be ringing that Nasdaq bell toot de sweet.... and Russia would fund it.

There has been some talk about a low ball offer taking advantage of RVX's current bank account.

That might be true if there was only one interested BP but i suspect there are several so that is not as big a concern. RVX has a big pie. Will one company try to take it all or is it going to get sliced up, different chunks to different pharmas for different diseases. If one company makes a play for them, there is not much doubt as to who will lead the charge
