Cityslicker99,
I hear your take on the cancellation, but I am skeptical towards painting a rosy picture.
RVX has been clear about the importance of this conference, based on Don's past talks. But I don't recall any press release from RVX saying that they were given the kidney conference slot. After the Breakthrough Designation on Feb 3, the next press release was about Covid 19.
In other words, RVX was not even beating the drum on the kidney slot. So they did not feel it was important enough even when they got the slot. This is bound to raise eyebrows. Is this a repeat of the Dementia data...loudly talked about previously, but now not even mentioned?
Perhaps the kidney data analysis was underwhelming? Or they still don't understand how the MACE data was so great for their kidney group?
This kidney conference really bothers me. The entire MACE improvements were from the kidney subgroup. And now it is not even being worth mentioning in a press release? Anyone have a good explanation?
