Kaiser Health News reports those with obesity are more vulnerable to infection and illness, vaccines are less effective.

Report states "More than 107 million American adults are obese"..."people with body mass index of 40 or more - known as morbid obesity, about 100 pounds over weight were highest risk of becoming severely ill with COVID-19".  Most severe cases were in those with body mass of 30, 42.4% of Americans.

Question to our scientists: Do obese individuals have more ACE2 receptors?  We know they are at significant risk from cardiovascular disease and other illnesses.
