It's true BP could say DIY. But they know they might lose out big time in the long run. RVX has shown with BoM that they are capable of doing a Phase 3 trial, and this time they have the FDA's assistance.

I was also interested to read in Don's presentation that he referred to potential partners (in the plural). This could mean either he is discussing BoM2 with more than one, and/or talking to different companies for BOM2 and non-CVD/CKD/T2D indications (infectious and inflammatory diseases, like covid and HIV). The latter would make sense imo.
