Chicagoest - The only point I was attempting to make is that DM never makes any reference to a time frame so the interpretation is left wide open. If it's 12 noon and you ask your partner when dinner might be and they say in a short while it's probably going to be within 9hrs. If some says we're going to have a baby in a short while it's likely going to be within 9 months. If DM says we will hear about blablabla in a short while without giving any reference to a time frame, maybe just maybe geological terms is the correct one to choose, you just don't know.
