Very valid points.  In response I would simply state that I have never been a fan of corporate welfare in any case, and certainly not with large and extremely profitable pharma companies....whether Resverlogix was to garner some gov't grant money for research into Covid or CVD.....it's all the same to me.  If governments are going to hand out taxpayer dollars I'd rather see them supporting Canadian companies over foreign owned entities.  

So no to coproate welfare, but if they're going to do it anyway at least support Canadian.
