These are interim analyses of the ongoing trials and are not the final data. These interim may be used to justify application for an emergency use authorization, which is not the same as FDA approval. My understanding is that the trials will continue and are not being halted. More data will be collected to increase the number of observations for efficacy and safety. Once trial is complete then standard NDA filing with FDA will be done.
