Trio of new listings adds to 2020’s record NASDAQ haul

Three new biotech’s began trading on NASDAQ on Friday December 4, bringing the total number of biotech’s listed on the exchange this year to 80 and the combined total raised to over $20bn reported BioCentury. Silverback, that develops tissue targeted therapies, raised a total $241.5m, the most that day. Sigilon Therapeutics, cell therapy and engineering, and Seer Inc, that is preparing to launch a proteomics analysis platform, also listed on the same day, raising $126m and $175m respectively.
